Highly dislike

I officailly hate the medical world and all that they stand for!!! I went to the doctors to see what was wrong with me and all they told me was that i did not have a infection!!! so they could not really do anything. So I went home and just kept on taking pain killers for the...pain! And they said that if it got worse that I should come back...ok so the only reason that I went to the doctors is cause the pain got worse!!! Whatever, this always happens to me they never know what is wrong with me and make me suffer through it till they are able to pull their heads out of their asses and finally realize what is wrong with me! I dont really hate doctors, they really are hard workers and have to deal with things that would make me pass out by just thinking about it. I guess i am just frustrated with my body...why can i just have normal symptoms? I was actually excited for testing positive to a infection cause that means that all I would have to do is take some medication and i would be home free. When the doctor told me that I did not I wanted to cry, now this means that I have to pray that the pain goes away....And so I did what any one would do and I Googled my symptoms....note to self: stop Googling your symptoms. Now I am convinced that I have cyst and cancer... after I realized that I was over reacting a phone call from a friend I was able to calm down a go back to work.
But when I woke up this morning I had no pain at all!!! It was a cured..or the cancer is so bad that I can't feel it...i decided to go with the the curing idea. I was a little worried that the pain would randomly come back but it is almost lunch and i am going to be able to eat a full meal with my sister!! But one missed pain only means that I get to have a other one! I now have a migraine! This is REDIC!!!! can't I just be pain free? is that too much to ask? OK i am over feeling sorry for myself and I hope the sushi I eat for lunch makes my migraine go away.
Last night we went to WOW and it was tons of fun as usual. I got to see Karl so of course it was great! there was a wonderful annoying grl there that was able to ruin a Michael Jackson song and a Kenny Chesney song but she left early so we did nave to put up with her for that long. Ice did not come out cause he has a "super bad cold" I have not seen him sense Sunday and it feels like its has been weeks sense I have seen him last...I think me and Tich need to spend some time away from them for a little bit. According to Mikey they are the only friends that we have. I think we need to branch out...just maybe

I want to go home

This week has been kind of slow...I went to a Mary Kay Conference...those women are fantastically crazy! There are some of the most funny successful women that I have met. So after Friday and Saturday of being in the "pink bubble" I spent Sunday at the parentals fealling sick and not knowing what I had. I went home before dinner and a cocktail with my mom!!! I got home and took some pain killers hoping that that the random pain would go away. It ended up going away and I went to the movies with Mikey to see "Hot Tub Time Machine" (note to self: don't let Mikey pick movies) It was a funny movie but so not worth 10 bucks. It is a good thing that I left my wallet at my parents house and had to ask Mikey to pay :) Monday I went to work only to come home early cause I felt so bad. I took some pain killers and went to bed. Tuesday was the worst day I tried not to take pain killers to see if I could figure out what was going on and found that it was a stupid idea and finally cracked and popped some Tylenol. It was TT and I was able to be pain free for the night and had some fun with friends. This morning I finally cracked and made a appointment with the doctors. All I know is that if I do not take Tylenol every 4 hours then I am in some serious pain, I was able to come to work today but wishing that I was on the couch sleeping instead. I kind of have a idea of what is going on but with my body you can never be sure. It is never what the doctors think it is so this visit is sure to be interesting. WOW tonight! and my sister is coming out!

WOW was a pretty wonderful night Tich decided that she did not have to go to class so I had some grl back up. Douglas did not want to come out but some hoe Tich was able to convince him to. And Dustin still came out and is really excited about moving...

St. Patty's DAy

So i have never really been a big fan of St. Patty's day, the fact that you have to wear green or get pinched, you have you drink and get wasted...i just dont get it...maybe i am missing something! and it is always on a weeknight!!! what is up with that!!! i can not go out and get plastered on a week night! any who...I was able to cut off ALL my hair yesterday bacause I finally got tired of it! I was able to donate it and Ashley (the best hair lady ever!!!) was able to make my new short hair super cute! My appointment was at 11 and at around 9:30 I started to get really nervous...rethinking the whole thing but I was able to man up and just cut it all off! I figured it would all just grow back if i was not a fan of the shortness. But Ashley made it sooooo cute that I think I might keep it for a little while.

Second Sat!

Natalie, Tich, and me went to 2nd Saturday at a revolution winery. Me and Nat were able to drink 2 bottles of wine while we told Tich about all the psycho people that we have met. I also explained to Tich how her older brother scares me! We had a lot of fun there, Nat's dad's was playing there so we had fun telling them to play "purple Rain" (it was the last song that i heard so it was on my mind) From there we went to Aura to meet up with Ice (Douglas) and Moody (Tom). The boys have been drinking sense 11 am on a wine tasting trip for a birthday. When we got to the bar the were (as Tich would say) Tee-rashed! Ice is my favorite drunk person ever! he just makes no sense and likes to say things more than once. That whole night is a bit of a blur but it was a lot of fun!

Brad Paisly

Once again I have been doing everything but Blogging about the crazy-ness that goes on in my life...So the last weekend in February, Me, Tich, Mikey, Douglas, and Tom went to Reno for Mikey's Birthday and to see Brad Pasily. It was lot of fun and even more fun to witness all my friends T-rashed! the concert was fantastic and after we went to Rambolians fro some drinks and dancing. Tich go us this drink that was a huge bowl and i think it was on fire!!! Whatever it was, it was fantastical! Then the music started!!! Me and Doug started to dance, and thank god I have at least on e guy friend that likes to dance and is good at it. I did have to deal with the occasional drunk dancing with Tim and Mikey but I was always saved by Doug or our other friend Joey. We were all having a great time when Mikey just walked up to us and said that we were leaving!! So we got our stuff and started to follow him out....we did have to stop and pay the tab. We walked out and could not find him anywhere!! So we look down the hall and we find him stumbling back towards us...it was obvious that we had to get him back to the room before he passes out on a chair. So Tom (also barley walking) and Mikey are walking in front of me and Doug. We make sure that we are at least 10 feet behind them so we can have a good laugh at them. And to apologize to the people that they offend as they walk by. Every group of grls that would walk by Mikey would say to them in a deep voice almost yelling "Ladies" and then as he would get closer say "sup" with a little head nod. And to ever guy that walked by he would say "Say something!" and almost get in their face! it was sooooo funny and usually everyone knew that he was trashed and would not do anything but he did get one drunk guy that wanted to fight him, so at that point we had to intervene, and my we i mean Doug. Once we got to the room he immediately passed out on the bed.
Now the bed situation: There were 2 beds in the room and 3 guys and me! Tich was meeting up with other friends. So me and Doug decided that we were going to share a bed and the two drunks would take the other. Well that did not work cuz they both passed out on both beds! so i deciede that it would be better to sleep with Tom cuz he was most likely to not puke. Well that was a stupid idea! all night i had to deal with him saying "lower" followed by a creepy laugh. if it was not that he would say "hey you wanna make out?" and I would say "maybe later" well that is only funny the first 10 times after that it just get ridiculous! So to throw him off i said yes...it worked till he thought i was serious and i had to convince him that i was kidding...the night got better and we drove home in the morning :)

The past week

it has been a while sense I have blogged...here we go again...this past week has been fantasticle!!! The highlight of the week was the weekend were we all road tripped to Reno to go see Brad Paisley!! It was also Mikey's birthday so there's a other excuse to drink. There is nothing more interesting than having a random mini vacation with the friends that you feel most comfortable with. It was a bunch of fun drinking, singing, and dancing so Sunday was far from disappointing.
Friday was Friend Friday where I spent the night with some friends that I have not seen in a long time. We spent the night drinking 4 bottles of wine and playing trivial pursuit Totally 80's...half way through the game we realized that we knew nothing about the 80's, considering that we were all born in '85 and cant remeber anything untill were were 5 so were having fun drinking and laughing about nothing!
Thursday was a nice relaxing day where I went to Dusitn mom's house to catch up on life and gossip :) I had a bowl of rice, it was fantastic!!
Wednesday was WOW so me, Doug and Mikey went to our usual bar to drink and make fun of the local drunks. It was also Ash Wednesday , the beginning of Lent, I (being a brilliant human being I am) decided to give up food for lent...FASTING....i don't know if it was a good idea but i seen to be doing alright...I am obviously eating but only one meal a day...who are we kidding a mexican that's not eating is hardly a mexican at all...I thought it was a better idea than giving up alcohol...but that kinda back fired on me, now all it takes is one beer and I am buzzed.
Tuesday was Fat Tuesday where we decided to have our own version of Marti Gras... most of the people there decided that they are giving up alcohol so they had to get there fill Tuesday night...at the end of the night my wonderful roomate, brother, and cousin thought that I would be a bright idea to burn the left over christmnas tree that we have had laying in our back yard...they placed/shoved it into our hobo fire pit, douse with gasoline and light on fire...after the 30ft flame went down the put a other tree in there and proceeded to do the same thing... Maybe it was the 30ft flame, the ash, the loud voices yelling "THAT IS INSANE!!!" or the heat that it was radiating, I don't know, but something prompted of our neighbors to call the fire department so about 20 mins after the flames died down there was a knock at the door with three very non-hot fire men there telling us that we had to put out our non-existing bon fire out...everyone hung out for a little and Dustin still talked about moving.
Monday me and Doug went to sushi and didn't invite Mikey cuz we know that he doesn't like sushi...note to self invite Mikey every where we go or else he will get hurt!
Going to Mikey's family birthday dinner tonight with Tich as my date...we are bringing our own noodles and telling his mom that he told us that we had to...

v-day at WOW

Last night was Awesome!!! Me and Tich finally got our shirts that say "Tiches for Life" and we gave the boys their "Our best Friends are Tiches!!!" I also gave Karl the coolest valentines day gift! It was this Date Kit:chap stick, tic tacs, candles, gum, redbull, and this sample cologne that I found in my room. We also finalized our cruise details...we are going to book it in a month...time to start saving some money!! Oh and I told Karl about the annoying grl that called me a lier last week so when she walked in he said "oh, I remember you , you were the annoying girl" He totally made my night!! But it only got better when Karl told me that he was going to kareoke "Ill make love to you" by boyz 2 men!! how did he know that i was a sucker for 90's love ballads!! Dustin did not come out so I could not talk to him about NOT moving. I think he is really going to leave...meetings tonight and spending time with my pup...

A long time

Wow looks like I missed a few days....ok well this past weekend was pretty fun we had a party for Douglas. We stated at my house and then walked over to the bar that is next to my house. It was a pretty interesting bar were there were 5 guys for every one grl wearing their shmedium shirts! it was fun to people watch. After that we went to the park next to my house it was about 2 am and i am sure the neighbors loved the fact that we were yelling "Tiches For Life!" at the top of our lungs. We then went back home where they all found out that I have never seen Top Gun. So that naturally tuned into a drinking game. Tich was Maverick I was Goose, Mikey was Ice man, and Dougy was Marlin....we lasted about the first 10 minutes until everyone started to pass out. I was woken up by Tich as she dog piled me...it was 8:30!!!! 4 hours of sleep is not cool...after everyone left i spent the day sleeping with the puppies (Maddie and Stetson). Recoving from Wednesday night and Friday night was in high demand!
Sunday was Super Bowl, Go Saints!!!! I went to my uncles house for a bit and then just headed over to Mikey's for a kick back were Dustin met me there. It was nice to watch the game laying on a couch and drinking a Bud. Nothing too crazy happened, we were all drained from the past week.
Meal Monday was great! We went to this great restaurant called Tres Agaves. I have heard alot about it but thought it was just talk. I had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos...to where Mikey told me i was eating a dolphin, it is so not a dolphin! It is a fish...anywho they were fantastic searved with beans and rice that were cooked perfectly! We washed it all down with 2 pitchers of the house margaritas...and the best thing is that they have a happy hour that starts late...i think 8!!! so after we were all done eating we went to the bar and got one more pitcher. They also have a tequila store where you can buy rare tequilas. We all decided that if we are going to keep doing these meal Monday's we are going to have to start going to Denny's so save money. Although Tres was FANTASTIC it was a bit pricey.
This Tuesday we did not eat Taco but my roommate made home made pizza!!! so fantastic!! it was a big hit and i did not have to cook anything...it was rather relaxing. Until my friend Dustin showed up and told me that he is moving 5 hours away!!! up until that point it was nice. He did not go into detail about it cuz i did not want to listen. I am sure i will talk to him about it tonight.
Tonight is WOW, I got Karl a Valentine...more tomorrow

WOW

Last night was Dougals' birthday and we all went out to Dillians!!! It was great to get him trashed and be with friends. Karl had no lines last night but was able to make me love him even more with his hugs and smiles.
I am officially done with annoying drunks grls that my friends like to put me around. The one that they had last night was yelling at me because she was convinced that I was dating one of my two best friends! When I told her no she called me a lier!!!
Recovery for WOW was not so great! I was sick at work till 12 and then felt like a new person after I went home to take a power nap on my lunch. I never thought a power nap could do so much. I am Pro Power naps!!!

Betting

Ok TT was great! we had some ground beef chorizo tacos that were bomb if i do say so and some great brownies made by Lea!!!
We are currantly on this bet kick. Tich and I wanted to make a bet with the boys that on our cruise if we bring back more grls to our room than them, then they have to pay for all of our drinks on the cruise. Well they did not like that idea very much so now they are trying to figure out a bet that include them possibly singing in the talent show if they loose or us cutting all our hair off if we loose....I dont know about that one, I have GREAT hair and i think i might have a panic attack if i have to cut it...but then again hair grows. We also are thinking about doing a bet where I go shot for shot of Patron with Mikey...i think i can take him...we will see..WOW tonight for Douglas' birthday...it's going to be great! hopefully Karl will have some good lines tonight (fingers crossed)

I need a plan

Monday...ugh! I hate monday's I never want to go back to work and think of the many ways to get out of it. But then I realized that my bank account is low and the only way to fill it up is to put in some time in corporate America. I'm not meant for the office job. Sitting down in a office for 8 hrs 5 days a week is not my dream job. I am soposed to be in a kitchen somewhere covered in flour, exhausted from working and excited for what is about to come out if the oven. I think it is time for a dramatic life change...

im tired if Swift!

So I am a AUNTIE!!! Miss Sonja Marie Ruiz was born on Friday January 29th! This weekend was a calm weekend compared to the ones that I have coming up. We had Fun Friday this week with pizza and beer drinking games. It was a ton of fun where Natalie and Loren got trashed so it was a successful Fun Friday!
Saturday I made Tiches fighter band.
History behind Fighter bands: My friends Brandon and Dustin started to make these hemp bracelets a year ago. They are convinced that they are the only ones that can make them even though every 12 yr old grl that has been to summer can make them. They call them fighter bands because they are too manly to call them bracelets.
After I made Tiche's fighter band i went to the movies with a bunch of people to re-see Avatar. I really liked it the first time...not so much the second time. I started to find that the really serious parts were making me laugh.
After that me and Douglas went to Aura. It's a bar that Tich's brother owns. It is a really nice place in midtown. It is next to all theses other bars which I like to call "Mid Life Crisis Rowe" there are a bunch of older guys that are way too buff and tan with every different kind of Affliction/Tap out shirt that you can imagine! We had alot of fun watching all the redic grls walking around with barley any clothing on and all the guys trying really hard to act cool. It is a great place to catch up on your people watching.
Sunday was a kick back day were I went to visit my bro and then went to my parents house to watch the Grammy's and eat their food. I am officially tired of Taylor swift! She is a crappy singer live and should not have won over The King (George Strait). Her music is far from country and should just be considered pop. If you have a million screaming grls that think the Jo bros are "like so hot" and are counting down the days til the next Twilight movie is coming out and the only thing that they can drink to give them a buzz is a Go Grl, as fans the you should not be considered a country music artist.

Auntie?

So last night was a slow night...my brother lead me to believe that his wife was going into labor so i decided to stay home and not plan anything just in case she had the baby. Well nothing happened, i went to bed at 8:30 with my puppy only to find out that he had horrible gas!!! So i had to put him in his crate to spare myself from his gassyness!
Waiting...waiting..

I just went to lunch with Mikey and Douglas and discovered that boys are extremely irrational. They decided to tell me all the stories of then when they were younger. How they almost died on a road trip because they both fell asleep at the wheel! Or how they had to pee in Gatorade bottles because they were stuck in traffic and then decided to pour it out as they were driving! Why would you do that?!?!? Or how they would go to Krispy Cream and buy donuts only to throw them at the goth people that hung out at Starbucks! When I asked them why they did it, they just shrugged their shoulders and said "couldn't tell you...it seemed like a good idea at the time" I am so glad they are not like that now because I don't think i would like them if they were still throwing donuts and falling asleep at the wheel! So in conclusion they are ridiculous! and i wont look at a Gatorade bottle the same.

OMG! I am so in love with my bartender! Every Wednesday me, Mikey, Doug, and Dustin go to Dillian's. It is a local bar that has karaoke and cheap beer. We like to call it WOW (whacked out Wednesday) for some reason we are all about alliteration, Taco Tuesday, WOW, Flauta Friday...anyway~ So our bartenders name is Karl, and he is amazing. He is one of those people that no matter how bad my day is he can always make it better. He is the same age as us and always hooks it up with many free shooters, especially when he feel like drinking with us! At first i kinda thought he didn't like us, we do have the potential of being loud and annoying. But then we found out that he is just like us when he goes out so he loves us even more.
He is always ready with the pick up lines that make me laugh and sometimes uncomfortable. So far this is what he has come up with: "you should be as happy as me when you come in on Wednesday, you are the only reason that I come to work every week" "I just wanted let you know that I have a cardboard cut out of you that i taped above my bed and every night I pray that the tape will give out" (that one kinda freaked me out but totally made me laugh) this one was last night, Karaoke of Pour Some Sugar on Me "Joslyn you wanna go out there and do the sexy dance with me?" I think if anyone else were to say that to me I would have gone off on them but cuz it is Karl i just laugh and anticipate the next ridiculous pick up line.

So last night was TT (taco Tuesday) It is where the local mexican (me) makes tacos, beans and rice for all my friends...and my roommates friends. It is always a interesting night with my friends and family. Then every once in a while there are the random people that show up...you know the ones...the friends that you only talk to on Facebook but you are still friends with but haven't really seen them in years. Those friends are usually over whelmed with the amount of people that are there and the abundant amount of drinking that happens on a Tuesday night. We had a few TT virgins there last night and of course all the other people that always come MINUS one of my closest friends!!! No phone call or text to let us know he wasn't coming (jerk).
Yesterday, we finalized our plans to go to Monteray for valentines day, our trip to Reno for the upcoming Brad Paisley concert, and out cruise to Mexico!!! this is going to be the best year ever!!!...Well now that I say that something i going to go terribly wrong to ruin my almost wonderfully planned year.
So in closing last night was fun even though I missed my friend and i am anticipating a great year!
